Fist African-American to permanently display a portrait in the Kansas State Capitol, an original portrait of Edward R. McCabe, the first black elected oficial in Kansas.

Two original portraits hanging permanently at the Kansas Historical Research Center Museum. One is of the Buffalo Soldiers. The other is of the first black kindergarten west of the Mississippi.

Commissioned an original portrait of Governor John Carlin and was presented to him during his term in Kansas.

Commissioned by the Black Historical Society of Kansas City to create an original portrait of the late Dr. Martin Luther Kink, Jr. to be sent to the King Center for Non-Violent Social Change in Atlanta, Georgia.
